Finnish sludge metal quartet Ilon Lapset delivered their second full-length *Mykkä pimeys* on August 10, 2025. Released as a limited-edition digipak CD (150 copies) and digitally via Visceral Circuitry Records (France) and Rämekuukkeli-levyt (Finland), the album presents six bleak, crushing tracks focused on despair, isolation and existential dread. Recorded and mixed by Porcifer in May 2024 with artwork by Niko Mönkkönen.‎
